Ruth Iwert Jensen, age 92, of Lake Forest, Illinois, entered eternal life on October 23, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Carl Jensen, loving mother of Jackie (Scott) Renwick, Joanie (Steve) Alley and Jay (Holly) Jensen, and proud “Nani” of eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ruth was an avid sportswoman, a consummate caregiver and had a heart for children which reflected her love for the Lord. Her joyful and loving presence will be missed greatly. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, October 27, at Christ Church Lake Forest followed by a private interment for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Christ Church Lake Forest – Missions Support, the scholarship fund of the Women’s Western Golf Association and Compassion International.
